Andrea Hoff is a visual artist, writer, and potter. She has been working in clay for the past twelve years and in 2018 founded the Art Studio in Squamish with Ciarra
Douglas. The Art Studio is a creative space for individual art production and
community-based art classes for children and adults.
Though Andrea will always love throwing on a wheel, she began focusing on hand-
building techniques a decade ago and fell in love with the process. Her work is
colourful, practical, and each object has a story to it. She has recently begun working with architects in Vancouver to develop large scale ceramic installations and porcelain lighting designs.
Andrea has exhibited her ceramic work both locally and internationally. She
continues to find great joy in working with clay—both in the making and teaching.
